Wendy Williams is a low-his luck woman who had driven across the country with his dog, Lucy, in search of a better life in Alaska. Wendy barely able to support this trip, and when your car breaks down in Oregon and she became separated from Lucy, their situation becomes even more serious. In a world that does not seem to know it still exists, Wendy befriends a local security guard (Wally Dalton), which gives a small fraction of hope. Taking into account this movie along with the old joy, it's obvious that Reichardt has skyrocketed in the ranks of American authors. She is becoming a master of juvenile characteristics that feel like the best short stories, a kind of cinema Raymond Carver. The credit is granted, of course, the wonderful Williams, who is in almost every shot of the movie, and it offers a surprisingly honest performance. However, everything about this movie stinks of truth, most notably Sam Levy restricted, but the beautiful cinematography, editing and Reichardt of the patient. WENDY And Lucy is a tribute to the film characters marginalized, and the real world, usually not ignore.

The story of how the blues became popular and gave birth to rock and roll begins at a dingy bar on the rough South Side of Chicago in 1947, where an ambitious young Polish emigre, bar owner Leonard Chess (Academy Award-winner ADRIEN BRODY), hires a talented but undisciplined blues combo that includes quiet and thoughtful guitar prodigy Muddy Waters (JEFFREY WRIGHT) and impulsive and colorful harmonica player Little Walter (COLUMBUS SHORT). Fascinated by the sound of the music - and eager to cash in on the record burgeoning record business - Chess arranges a recording session for Waters. Waters' early recordings start moving up the R+B charts and receiving heavy play.

Chess treats his musicians like family -- he buys them a Cadillac when they record their first hit record -- although the line between business and personal sometimes causes conflict with his increasingly talented and successful stable of artists. After backing up Muddy on his early recordings, Little Walter becomes a star in his own right, but his quick temper and loud manner often run him afoul of friends and the law. He also finds that the only woman he can talk to is Muddy's girl, Geneva (GABRIELLE UNION), who struggles to remain loyal despite Muddy's poorly concealed affairs. Big Willie Dixon (CEDRIC THE ENTERTAINER), a songwriter and bandleader, also is a key member of the Chess Records family, as is Howlin' Wolf (EAMONN WALKER), an intense and proud blues singer who develops a musical rivalry with Muddy.

But it's not until 1955 when a Chess artist finally "crosses over" into the realm of mainstream ("white") America - a skinny guy from St. Louis named Chuck Berry (MOS DEF), whose dynamic "duck walk" and catchy, country-tinged tunes mark the birth of rock-and-roll. When Berry is arrested and jailed at the height of his career, Chess finds another talented performer to cross over singer Etta James (BEYONCE KNOWLES), an emotionally scarred young woman whose vulnerability tempts Chess' loyalty and concern in unexpected ways.

As rock-and-roll grows more popular, the Chess artists find themselves revered by a new generation of musicians, but they have also each earned and lost a small fortune on booze, women and the high life, and their addictions begin to take their toll. Nothing happens really remarkable to poppy, and yet their limits and make good cheer child delighting their efforts smallest incredibly attractive. The smile of poppy is put to the ultimate test after she decides to take driving lessons, and is assigned to Scott (Eddie Marsan). Scott is a paranoid, full of anger instructor who verbally abuses throughout his experience.

The film is a fascinating study of character, and Hawkins is excellent as Poppy, striking just the right chord of cheerful without coming off as shrill or disagreeable

It also offers a refreshing and optimistic and realistic in the life of the 30-something urban women. Poppy lives his life to the fullest - in the real world - without any kind of cliche Sex and the City hangups. HAPPY-GO-LUCKY is a whip-smart and full of surprises - just when you're sure the story will change in a certain direction, Leigh gently nudges it down a different path. And you will be glad of that.

It is a pitch-black thriller with enough drama and tragedy, even in favor of William Shakespeare, but certainly keep both comic fans and uninitiated audience equally happy. THE DARK KNIGHT begins in the wake of Batman Begins: with the appearance of Batman (Christian Bale), Gotham City's underworld is unnerved. They are also plagued by the new DA, Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) who, in their quest for justice, it remains above the city of corruption. Enter a new villain, the Joker (Heath Ledger), who wants to join the criminals for a common purpose: to kill Batman.

DARK KNIGHT SE is one of the most hyped movies to date, and a lesser film would be crushed under the weight of all that expectation. Some of the publicity stems from the early death of Ledger, who becomes an excellent performance. He provides moments of humor, but this is terrifying Joker, sharing more with classic villains like Hannibal Lechter, who with his comic book predecessors. Eckhart is just as good as Dent and Maggie Gyllenhaal deserves praise for taking on the role of Rachel Dawes to Katie Holmes. Although there is more emphasis on plot and character development than in most comic book adaptations, that does not mean Nolan has skimped on any of the action sequences.

Each set piece is done perfectly, leaving the audience breathless. THE DARK KNIGHT is filmmaking at its best; its subject matter may be dark and depressing, but it's tough not to feel exhilarated by its artistry when the credits begin to roll

Powerfully acted by Markovics, counterfeiters is the kind of film that was made for the Oscars.

Iron Man is the first film that is self-financed by Marvel Studios, and should be proud of his first effort. Take no obvious choice of routes with the cast or crew, and worthwhile. Director Jon Favreau, who also has a small role in the film, is best known for directing ELF, but his first action promoted by the effort is nearly flawless.

Casting Downey food, but was inspired: This is his first major action as well as the image, but the ingenuity that is displayed in films like the cult hit KISS KISS, BANG BANG works perfectly for the character of Stark. Iron Man features nods to its beloved source material, as well as the classic animated series from the 1960s. But even for the uninitiated, this film offers an interesting entry into the superhero of the Marvel universe. To keep the public after the credits have rolled seeing will be rewarded with a bonus scene.

Lakeview Terrace is accelerated as a cul de sac. It is a film about race, is set in LA, which has an LAPD cop. The "Abel problem" quickly makes the marriage of Chris and Lisa to suffer, which ultimately makes for some of the most interesting films of the theater. Chris, who already feel besieged by friends and family for having married a black girl, is determined to take care of himself and Lisa Abel demonstrate its capability and strong enough to defend her marriage. Things really bubble to Chris and Lisa when Lisa discovers she is pregnant. Patrick Wilson is the consummate white preppie kid, ideally suited for the role of Chris Mattson, a privileged yuppie who went to Berkeley on a lacrosse scholarship, smoke cigarettes organic (when the wife is not looking), and enjoys hip-hop as music that leads to the home office. However, Kerry Washington is that really impresses in the role of Chris wife, Lisa. She is the most sympathetic character in the film and shows great range of subtle emotions, within the celebration of the same concerns and unspoken insecurities of a woman trapped in a precarious situation culturally.

Labute does a good job with his actors, as they always do, although it was clear who was born and raised in the direction of theater. He is prone to melodrama and handheld movie embellishments (like the backdrop of gunpowder that was clearly intended to underscore the danger and unpredictability fuels "heat" of the situation), and the absence of many of localization and changes to Sometimes it feels a little too theatrical and a bit claustrophobic.

However, some personages succeeds in creating more interesting and full of tension action scenes. In the modern cinema, is a constant phrase: The Coen brothers make good movies. That goes for his latest output, record after the reading. With a cast headed by George Clooney, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, Brad Pitt and John Malkovich, Burn After Reading is like a dark night of comedy with enough shock and awe to any Buff film of the jaw on the floor.

The film opens in the middle of a well-lit corridor with the sound of dress shoes clicking against the marble floor. When the owner of the shoes, Osborne Cox (Malkovich), is forced to leave his post as a low-level CIA agent, the mania begins.

The plot expands when Cox's wife (Swinton) decides to divorce her husband by her lover, Harry (Clooney). At the suggestion of his lawyer, that copies of a disc of all Cox's financial records, which falls into the hands of the idiot of Chad and Linda (Pitt and McDormand). The dynamic duo dimwitted attempts to blackmail Cox.

What makes this movie so damn watchable is the freshness of the performance and the quirkiness of the script. Pitt and McDormand are impeccable as an idiot Wannabe pair of criminals, and no other actors could have played the roles of Harry Cox and fairly, as well as Clooney and Malkovich.

The Coen brothers, known for his long series of excellent films, including Fargo and last year's Oscar sweep No Country for Old Men, have hit another home run with burns after the reading. The dialogue is on the ground, and the twists and turns are anything but predictable. Just wait until you see what Harry is building in his basement.
